Coding with Digital Experience is a vibrant Code Club initiative, founded at the African Leadership University (ALU), dedicated to empowering high school students across Rwanda. Our club is built on the belief that digital literacy and hands-on coding experience are essential skills for today’s youth. By providing a collaborative and inclusive environment, we aim to inspire young minds to confidently embrace technology, develop essential coding skills, and pursue advanced careers in tech.

To bridge the digital literacy gap and foster a generation of tech-savvy students who are equipped with practical coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative mindsets. We strive to create an impactful learning experience that goes beyond the classroom, empowering students to take initiative in their tech journeys.

By 2026, we aim to reach at least 30 high schools across Rwanda, with a minimum of 60% female participation in each school’s club. Our goal is to drive long-lasting change by empowering young women and fostering a culture of digital confidence and inclusion.

Our ambition to reach underserved regions requires grants, sponsorships, and partnerships that will enable us to extend our programming beyond the ALU campus to high schools nationwide.
